Dedication
We realize rescue work can be grueling, thankless, and less than glamorous – and emotionally challenging for anyone who engages in it. However, the thankful eyes of the animals we help continually serve as a reminder of the importance of our work. Without the efforts and commitment of our dedicated volunteers, many of these animals would continue to live in difficult situations, with many facing death on a regular basis. We hope you are touched by these animals as we have been and find your experience rewarding. For volunteers that go on outreach, you will be required to read our Outreach Guidelines, which we will provide when you join The Rescue Project as a volunteer.
Reliability
We ask that you notify us immediately if you are unable to attend a volunteer or outreach event that you have previously committed to. Our small teams depend on one another, and being a dependable team member is vital to the success of our mission.
