Meet Marlie!

Marlie was found as an outdoor dog, who hadrecently given birth. She was living in complete filth and mud with zero protection from the elements. She was giving all she had to care for her babies, who also suffered from flea dermatitis, extreme dehydration, and malnutrition.

Fortunately, The Rescue Project was able to convince her "owner" to surrender her and her puppies for a chance at a better life!

After their numerous medical needs were addressed, Marlie and her babies made a full recovery. They are living happily in their forever homes now.

Our mission at The Rescue Project is to help abandoned, neglected, and needy animals in the Kansas City Metro and surrounding areas. We raise awareness through community education programs and provide resources for veterinary services.
